Terra Aerospace Wins Contract With US Army
Terra Aerospace, an Ottawa, Canada based manufacturer recently won a major contract to provide unique remote handling equipment to US Army Explosive Disposal teams. Terra won the tender in competition with four other international bidders to win this lead order from the US Army to supply a new version of its' rope and pulley system used in bomb disposal operations. The initial order for 104 complete systems may double prior to the end of the contract, and will undoubtably lead to the purchase of other Terra designed and manufactured equipment to Us military agencies.

Terra Aerospace revenues are up 35 percent, while exports have grown 400% over the same period last year. Export sales are expected to continue to at least double in the next year.
