Robotic Success Story Continues for Terra Aerospace Corporation
Terra Aerospace announced today that the University of Ottawa, Computer Sciences and Engineering faculty has purchased the first production model of the MERLIN robotic vehicle. This purchase represents a significant event as Terra Aerospace continues to evolve into more specialized fields in the development of advanced robotic systems. The University of Ottawa will be using the Merlin Robotic platform in research and development of highly sophisticated "Telepresence" systems currently in development at the University. It is believed that this research will potentially lead to major improvements in the teloperational control of robotic vehicles and systems.
